The $200 million Collie Industrial Transition Fund will support large-scale industrial projects that can provide long-term, sustainable jobs in Collie. The Fund aims to attract new and emerging industries as Collie transitions to new forms of industry and power generation. Funding may also be used to develop project-ready industrial land. The Fund forms part of the WA Government’s $547.4 million Collie Transition Package announced in June 2022.
Through the Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants, the State Government is investing in projects that stimulate economic growth in regional Western Australia. The RED Grants Program is a $50.85 million state-wide government initiative that invests in locally driven projects that stimulate job creation and economic growth in regional areas. The program will invest $5.652 million over 9 years into the South West region.
